NEW YORK - Wall Street lost ground in a late-day selloff as traders feared the US government’s banking sector bailout faces delays at it passes through congress. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 161.52 points, or 1.47 per cent, to 10,854.17. The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite slumped 25.64 points, or 1.18 per cent, to 2,153.34 and the broad-market Standard & Poor’s 500 index lost 18.87 points, or 1.56 per cent, to a close of 1,188.22.
